European Festival Conference in Protugal

Von: Prof. Dr. Ralf Kitzberger, LL.M.

Excited to announce that I will be speaking at the 6th European Festival Conference (EFC) from 18–21 November 2025 in Évora, Portugal!

Together with Christian Denzer, co-founder of CoverMyAss insurance, I’ll be hosting the session:
“Who’s got your back? Festival Insurance 101”

We’ll dive into the key legal and insurance challenges facing festival organizers today, grounded in real-life scenarios from large open-air events. Our session covers the must-have insurance solutions for festivals—ranging from liability and event cancellation, to cyber and AGG (anti-discrimination) coverage—as well as legal pitfalls and practical contract tips. Whether you’re a promoter, production manager, or industry stakeholder, the session is designed to help you safeguard your event and understand how to build true resilience for the festival season ahead.

The EFC provides an outstanding opportunity to connect, learn, and exchange ideas with Europe’s leading festival professionals in an intimate and inspiring environment. I’m looking forward to seeing friends and colleagues from across the sector and to some inspiring days of networking and discussion.
